NUS Medicine Graduate Studies Commencement Dinner 2023
In celebration of the MSc and PhD graduates of the Class of 2023, the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine Division of Graduate Studies organized the 2023 Commencement Dinner on 7 July 2023. The gala dinner event was held at the Fullerton Hotel, known for being an iconic National Monument of Singapore and for its scenic riverfront location.
The Commencement Dinner event was arranged to commemorate one of the most significant milestones of our MSc and PhD students’ academic journey – their graduation. It was also the perfect chance to honour the academic faculty who had mentored our graduates throughout their academic journey.
Besides the NUS Medicine MSc and PhD graduates, this event was attended by their family and friends, thesis advisors and members of the NUS Medicine Graduate Programme Committee. To kick off the evening, Associate Professor Kevin Tan, Assistant Dean of Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Professor Jessica Pan, Dean of NUS Graduate School delivered speeches to congratulate and welcome the Class of 2023. Live music performances, delicious food, fun games and attractive prizes were enjoyed by the attendees, making for an unforgettable evening for all.
